Clara on the way to church last Sunday.

 

 Waiting for our food at IHOP Monday morning. She was saying "Hello?"

Then she started biting her sleeve. I guess she was waiting too long for food.

Her sleeve started tasting pretty good.

She was doing pretty good at keeping busy.

She was just being funny then.

She realized that the top flips up and then it was all she focused on.

This is what it looked like this morning, leaves everywhere. We had a few twigs fall off of the trees but nothing serious. We woke up to it being about 40 degrees and sprinkling a little. There was very little wind if any.

Our Romney signs made it just fine. Yeaaah. 

Yesterday when Nikki was coming back from the store about 4 pm, she saw a smaller tree up the street and over on another street that had pulled it's roots out and was gently leaning against the power lines but had not fallen over yet. She said that the street was blocked off by officials and they were already working on it. The lights flickered twice last night but that was it. We're still here and kicking. We were expecting to use lamps, flashlights, etc. Oh well. Pretty sure the coastal areas are not doing as good though.
