Walking through a big tube at the Virginia Beach Aquarium. It was worth going through once.
Clara loved the big fish tanks.
We could've spent a lot longer there.

The aquarium was split between two buildings that were accessible by a 1/4 to 1/2 mile trail. It was really cool, kinda hot but a lot of it was under the cover of trees. The trail also meandered by a river.
James was and is always really good at traveling.
This was a viewing tower that overlooked the river.
Too bad that they didn't have the flooring metal.
It was still fun. Clara really liked the stairs.
And James just enjoying the fresh air.
And hanging out with mommy.
The 2nd building had a cool hand carved canoe.
Too bad we could try it out on the river.
This was a bubble for the kids to climb under the tank and look up inside.
We stopped off on the way home at Joe's Crab Shack.

We had gone less than a week prior to the big summer rush, so it was nice and not very many people.
We did need jackets in the shade but in the sun it was nice.

It's funny, they charge about $6 to walk out on the pier in the background.

Right when we got there, about 3 or 4 school buses pulled up. Luckily for us, they were on a time schedule and kinda rushed through everything.
